Essay

The purpose of the dissertation is to research the administrative and legal foundations of ensuring the quality of higher education and to formulate recommendations for improving the current legislation in the field of quality regulation of the provision of educational services by Ukrainian higher education institutions. The object of the research is social relations that arise in the process of providing educational services by higher educational institutions, and are aimed at ensuring the quality of higher education. The subject of the study is the administrative and legal principles of ensuring the quality of higher education. Research methods. In the process of conducting the research, a complex of general scientific and special legal methods was applied. The dialectical method of cognition was used, which provided an opportunity to study social phenomena in the context of scientific generalization. At the same time, historical, systemic-structural, comparative-legal, formal-logical methods, as well as the method of legal modeling were used in the research process. The scientific novelty of the obtained results lies in the fact that the dissertation is one of the first in domestic legal science to conduct a comprehensive thorough scientific study of the theoretical and practical problems of the administrative and legal foundations of quality assurance of higher education, the provisions of which formulate and substantiate systemic directions for improving the current legislation in the field of quality assurance provision of educational services taking into account foreign experience and conditions of integration of the Ukrainian educational system into the European educational space. The practical significance of the obtained results lies in the fact that the dissertation proposes directions for improving the current legislation, which are substantiated in the process of implementing the considered administrative and legal norms for ensuring the quality of higher education in Ukraine. The theoretical propositions presented in the dissertation, as well as the formulated proposals and recommended directions, can be applied in the following areas: - research area; - educational process.
