Yarema T. Innovative Power of the European Union

The work reveals the economic meaning of the concept of “innovative power” for entities of the global economy (countries and international integration groups), identifies the markers of the formation and growth of innovative power in the conditions of the modern industrial revolution, and investigates the asynchronous disposition of the innovative power of the EU member states. It evaluates the innovative power of the European Union in the context of globalisation, analyses the influence of integration and disintegration processes in the European Union on the ratio of the innovative power of member states, characterises the innovative status of the Ukrainian economy in the context of European integration processes, outlines the determinants of the development of the innovative power of Ukraine as a candidate country for accession to the EU.
