The dissertation presents an attempt to solve the actual task of the formation of a culture of movements of children of senior preschool age.
According to the results of the analysis of the scientific and methodological literature it was established that the certain movements are needed to master the new motor actions of the child which will develop the fine motor function, physical and motor qualities. Performing movements to the musical accompaniment will affect the psycho-emotional state and physical development of children. During the educational process in preschool education institutions, the means of artistic gymnastics are not used, and their introduction requires the scientific justification.
The purpose of the study was to substantiate theoretically, develop and experimentally verify the effectiveness of the program using the artistic gymnastics tools for the formation of a culture of movements of children aged 5-6 years in the process of physical education in preschool education institutions.
The introduction substantiates the relevance of the problem, defines the purpose, task, methods, object and subject of research, defines the scientific novelty, practical significance of the obtained results, and the personal contribution of the author in the published scientific works in co-authorship. The approbation of the research results and the number of publications on the topic of the dissertation are highlighted.
The scientific novelty of the obtained results lies in the fact that in the dissertation:
– for the first time, a comprehensive approach to the assessment of a culture of movements of preschoolers, taking into account the physical, motor and aesthetic components, which were used to develop a program of the formation of a culture of movements of children 5-6 years old was substantiated;
– for the first time, the structure and content of the program of the formation of a culture of movements using the means of artistic gymnastics for children of senior preschool age, taking into account the age characteristics was substantiated and developed, which includes: the aim, tasks, principles, content;
– for the first time, the organizational and methodological conditions for the implementation of the program «The Artistic Gymnastics for Preschoolers» in the process of physical education of children aged 5-6 years in the conditions of preschool education institutions were developed.
Added data on the structure of the physical condition of children 5-6 years old and the relationship of its indicators with the components of a culture of movements of preschoolers; the further development of knowledge regarding the peculiarities of using the means of physical education of preschool children has gained.
