The work is dedicated to the shadowing processes of the global economy through the prism of its organizational and institutional formats and control mechanisms. Considerable attention is paid to the disclosure of the theoretical and methodological aspects of the shadow economy study and the complex characteristics of its position and role in the structure of the global economic system. The dualistic nature of shadow economy and its contradictory influence on the modern structural dynamics of the world economic development are justified on the basis of criteria and classification identification.
