Lavnikov O. Formation of the individual style of professional activity of future translators on the basis of interdisciplinary integration

The dissertation examines the problem of forming the individual style of professional activity of future translators and proposes a new approach to its solution, which consists in the introduction of pedagogical conditions for the formation of the individual style of professional activity of future translators on the basis of interdisciplinary integration. A theoretical analysis of the problem of forming an individual style of professional activity of future translators was carried out; the essence and structure of the main concepts were clarified; the specific features of the professional training of future translators in the context of the formation of an individual style of professional activity are characterized. In the context of our research, we proposed and specified the essence of the concept: “individual style of professional activity” as a system of ways and techniques of professional activity determined by certain personal qualities. The concept of “individual style of the translator’s professional activity” is defined by us as an integral dynamic personal and professional formation, which is a relatively stable, open, self-regulated system of interconnected individually peculiar actions, containing a complex of intellectual, motivational, mental qualities and сonditioned by an individually peculiar approach to the implementation professional activity, as well as to continuous professional development. In the structure of the individual style of professional activity of translators, we have highlighted the following components: orientation towards professional success and career, management of knowledge and translation resources, systematic and creative thinking, effective partnership and team interaction.
