Fayerman O. Training of future specialists in the socionomic sphere for social support for parents of children with special needs

The dissertation examines the problem of training future specialists in the field of socionomics for further social support of parents of children with special needs and proposes a new approach to its solution which consists in introducing the technology of training such specialists for social support of parents of children with special needs in the process of master's training. The work presents the author's vision of the phenomenon «readiness of future specialists in the socionomic sphere for social support of parents of children with special needs». This phenomenon is defined as stable, integral, integrative personality formation which allows a specialist to give effective social support to parents of children with special needs due to the presence of a value-motivational attitude to providing social support to parents, a set of knowledge and skills (gnostic, projective, organizational, speech, interactive, moral and ethical), developed social intelligence, tolerance, empathy, reflection. The work presents the justification of the following structural components of the readiness under investigation: value-motivational, content-theoretical, operational-practical, personal, as well as a set of criteria and their indicators: motivational and directive (the level of need for achievement (striving for success, self-development, self-improvement), focus on interaction, personal values («humanity», «justice» values); cognitive (level of desire to acquire knowledge and apply it in professional activities, curiosity, openness to new experiences; completeness, strength and nature of knowledge acquisition regarding social support of families with children with special needs); activity (level of mastery of gnostic, projective, organizational, verbal, interactive, moral and ethical skills), the level of their application in various types of professional activity in particular during the implementation of social support for parents of children with special needs); personal (the level of social intelligence, tolerance, empathy, reflexivity). The levels of the formation of the studied readiness (low, sufficient, high) were determined and the content of the levels was revealed.
