This dissertation presents the results of the theoretical background elaboration as well as the experimental testing of the method efficiency, directed at the system national musical culture (NMC) concept formation with the future music art teachers.The theoretical possibilities of the national music culture phenomenon
representation are analyzed in the dissertation.The National musical culture is defined as the system of the base spheres and the corresponding musical genres practice, which function in the conventional measures of the definite national culture. According to the developed model the modern national musical culture system is based on the following musical culture spheres : 1) national art traditions, nation forming majority and minority groups’ folklore; 2) religious music practice; 3) secular professional and amateur concerts performing; 4) mass popular music which exists on the mass production principles. The complex personal-cognitive – psychological property of any individual, which inseparably unites three components: empiric knowledge (sound, visual, motor gestalts, stored by the individual in the process of gaining experience of the national musical culture artifacts perception or creation; as well as certain practical skills and knowledge “ how to do it”); theoretical knowledge ( notions and judgments, including factual knowledge of the national culture phenomenon) and artistic- esthetic relations (the individual’s perception of the known artifacts, his image-sense reactions and esthetic judgments, which
correspond to the definite national culture). The suggested musical culture theoretical model and the definition of the system concept of the given phenomenon created the theoretical grounds for working out methods of the pedagogical effect on the future music art teachers’ professional training process. The pedagogical approaches and principles were stated and the conditions for system national music concept were defined. The optimal conditions for the methods, suggested in the dissertation,
implementation into practice were stated, namely: a) Pedagogical stimulation of the attentive and respectful students’ attitude to any national music culture, regardless of its type and the level of integration in the European-Atlantic civilization process, exclusion of any cultural intolerancemanifestation; b) stimulating the future music art teachers’ pedagogical reflection concerning the methods, conditions, forms and results of the forming system НМК concept process; c) while choosing the secular and religious musical compositions, preferences should be given to those ones, which are connected with the folklore and reflect the given culture ethnic basis to the greatest extend; d) organizing the students’ direct contacts with the various national music cultures bearers for cooint music playing; e) providing the students with necessary multimedia technique computer sound synthesis means for encouraging them to mastering HMK elements in their experimental creative activity; f) introduction of the “The World Music Cultures” special course in the educational process, which is aimed at equipping the future music art teachers with the set of methods as it can promote the system music culture concept forming.The pedagogical diagnostics method of the future music art teacher’s level
of national music culture system concept formation was worked out. The forming-experimental approbation of the suggested method was introduced step-by-step. The first step (hoarding) was aimed at storing of the artistic impressions, notions, factual and evaluating judgments of the number of selected national music cultures (preference was given to cultures of Ukraine and Spain ( Europe), China and Turkey ( Asia), the USA and Brazil ( America), Congo ( Africa) and Indonesia (Oceania). The second – integration – step had specific task to systematize the sensual images, notions and artistic-esthetic relations as to the number of the national music cultures selected for mastering. The practical importance of the results and materials of the research is determined by the possibility of their application in the educational process of the musical- pedagogical secondary and higher academic levels, as well as at the secondary school music art lessons and at Art schools, in the system of after
diploma education
