The dissertation is devoted to the problem of forming the competence of teachers of GSE in the field of protection and enforcement of intellectual property rights in the process of professional development. The relevance of the work is related to the fact that in the course of their professional activities, teachers of GSE create a large number of intellectual products that require protection and enforcement of intellectual property rights and have a certain commercial value. However, due to the low level of legal culture in the field of intellectual property, teachers of GSE cannot identify the results of their activities that are objects of intellectual property, protect and enforce copyright on them. Based on the analysis of scientific works, the research determines that the problem of forming the competence of GSE teachers in the field of protection and enforcement of intellectual property rights has not been sufficiently developed, and scientific developments in this area are rare. The article highlights the content and essence of the concept of "teacher's competence in the field of protection and enforcement of intellectual property rights" as a component of the integral professional competence of a teacher, which rights includes 4 components: pedagogical, legal, economic and administrative. An important component of the dissertation research is the proven need to develop the above-mentioned competence of GSE teachers through theoretical discourse, development and implementation of the technology for developing the competence of GSEI teachers in the field of protection and enforcement of intellectual property rights in the process of advanced training, which implemented in five stages: preparatory-diagnostic, motivational and goal-oriented, cognitive-oriented, actively-operational and control-evaluative. The research describes in detail the content and essence of each of these stages of the technology. The effectiveness of our proposed technology was proved in the course of the pedagogical experiment, which is described in detail in the third chapter of the dissertation. The validity of the results of the pedagogical experiment was proved using the methods of mathematical statistics. The practical significance of the obtained results is in the development of a technology for the formation the competence of teachers in the field of protection and enforcement of intellectual property rights in the process of in-service training and its implementation in the educational process of the Osnovianskyi district of Kharkiv, the Specialised School of I-III degrees №53 with in-depth study of the German language in Kyiv, ITSTEP SCHOOL in Kyiv. Kyiv, which is confirmed by the relevant certificates. The practical significance of our study is also in the following: - creation of a set of monitoring procedures aimed at determining the level of development of the competence of GSE teacher in the field of protection and enforcement of IP rights, in particular, relevant factor and criterion models for assessing the level of development of this competence, criteria, indicators and methods; - development of author's in-service training programmes in the field of protection and enforcement of intellectual property rights of various durations. The theoretical provisions and practical developments outlined in the dissertation can be used by institutions providing in-service training for teachers.
