The dissertation summarizes the results of the theoretical analysis and experimental research on the formation of heuristic thinking of undergraduates in choral conducting at pedagogical universities, describes its structural components, establishes the connection between the professional training of undergraduates in choral conducting at the faculties of arts with heuristic thinking as a specific intellectual activity in an unknown-undefined information field aimed at solving complex problems and situational tasks with the aim of creating new non-standard activity models of the conducting and choral educational process, developed and experimentally tested the method of formation of heuristic thinking of undergraduates in choral conducting of pedagogical universities.
The introduction substantiates the relevance of the research problem; the purpose and tasks of the research, object, subject, research methods, methodological foundations are defined, the scientific novelty and practical significance of the research are noted, data on the approbation of the obtained results are given, and the structure of the dissertation is described in accordance with the sequence of solving the tasks.
In the first chapter, the substantiation of the theoretical foundations of the formation of heuristic thinking of undergraduates in choral conducting of pedagogical universities is carried out; conceptual studies of heuristic thinking are considered in relation to highlighting heuristics as a creative process in the aspect of creativity of knowledge, innovation, perfection, creativity of activity, productive thinking, creative search, completeness, achievement of a new creative result;
theories of creative thinking were analyzed; the key characteristic of heuristic thinking was revealed as a personal property, which manifests itself in: the search for opportunities, flexibility of worldview; the ability to perceive innovations and changes, generate ideas, construct courses of action, creatively interpret reality, demonstrate readiness to search for new, ways of improvement and innovation.
It has been established that heuristic thinking has the properties of problematic, research, critical and creative thinking and can be an effective regulator of the professional training of undergraduates in choral conducting of pedagogical universities, as it absorbs all phases of the development of thinking – from the specification of a problematic task to the variable search and generation of ideas of original its productive solution.
The concept of «heuristic thinking of undergraduates in choral conducting» is defined as the integrative property of master's students to independently carry out a flexible search-creative act thanks to the actualization of intellectual procedures of an analytical-exploratory, reflective-intuitive, of a transformative and creative nature, which allows to activate the program of self-realization of undergraduates in choral conducting as creative individuals, aimed at constructing a system of action, filled with optimal options for solving problem-situational tasks to ensure effectiveness and obtain original products of conducting and choral activity with a significant degree of objective-subjective novelty.
