The aim of the dissertation is the scientific substantiation and development of theoretical and methodological aspects and practical recommendations for the formation of an effective mechanism of the activity of industrial enterprises.
The object of the study is the process of forming an effective mechanism for managing the activities of industrial enterprises, in particular, machine-building enterprises.
The subject of the study: theoretical, methodological and applied aspects of the formation of an effective mechanism for managing the activities of industrial enterprises, in particular, machine-building enterprises.
Research methods: the most important theoretical and practical developments are based on the provisions of modern economic theory, management theory and practice, on the use of such methods as the generalization method - to determine the essence, main paradigms and role of an effective mechanism for managing the activities of enterprises; systemic and situational approaches, methods of induction and deduction, analysis and synthesis - for the development of theoretical and methodological principles of management of the activities of industrial enterprises; comparative analysis, selective observations, economic-mathematical, econometric - for the analysis of the current activity of industrial enterprises and its forecasting, etc.
In order to achieve the set goal of the research in the dissertation work, a number of scientific tasks were formed and solved, which made it possible to improve the conceptual apparatus related to the research problem by clarifying the definition of "activity" of the enterprise as a flow of processes, the definition of "economic activity" as socially significant dynamic functioning of the economic system of a certain hierarchical level, conditioned by social (including market) relations, which is caused by human interaction with the external environment, which occurs under certain conditions (social, ecological, political, technological, economic, demographic, geographical, natural, organizational and etc.) and aimed at a certain goal, which it achieves with the appropriate result by specific means.
A functional consolidated model for evaluating and regulating the level of effectiveness and efficiency of certain processes in the economic activity (futuristic efficiency) of industrial enterprises is presented in the corresponding mechanism for the purpose of forecasting them in the process of SEE-management, which will contribute to the vision of improvement directions (visions) of this mechanism.
The economic essence of the concept of "mechanism of enterprise activity" in the context of its management is clarified. The interaction of certain processes in the activity of the enterprise in two planes - formation/functioning and implementation in order to increase the efficiency of processes through management, which arise under certain conditions under the influence of impulses that change the development of the enterprise - is considered. The need to separate the concepts of "strategy of effective management" and "mechanism of management" of the company's activity is substantiated, and a graphic model of the mechanism of management of the activity of industrial enterprises, in particular, machine-building enterprises, is built. Methodological approaches to the interpretation, formation and evaluation of the effectiveness of certain processes in the enterprise's activity are proposed, including by the KD indicator - the coefficient of useful action (a qualitative component of the efficiency of processes) in the latest understanding as part of the whole - the effectiveness of processes in the enterprise's activity (as a micro-level system) in the form of a complex generalizing category, which takes into account the final results (effects), scope and nature of activity, characterizes its potential (reserves) and risks, which will contribute to the identification of relevant patterns of activity, the reduction of uncertainty in the assessment of process efficiency indicators and the finding of intensive factors for the growth of this efficiency thanks to an effective management mechanism, and will also contribute to the process of extended reproduction and the formation of newly created value. Scientific and practical approaches to calculating the valence of the activity result are presented; valence is a measure of the value of the result of the enterprise's activity and/or priority.
