Essay

The thesis is devoted to the study of directions and mechanisms of digital transformation of the European Union (EU) labor market, to the analysis of the state and prospects of digitization of the domestic labor market. In the conditions of intensive growth of globalization processes covering all aspects of the world countries’ social life, we should single out the global digitization of international economic relations in the sphere of production, exchange, finance, scientific and technical interaction, distribution of information and communication technologies. Therefore, the study of the application of digitalization technologies is gaining relevance in such subsystems of the world economy as world, regional, and national labor markets and, in particular, the processes of relevant transformations, which are inherent in the European Union labor market (EULM) and the Ukrainian labor market (ULM). The aim of the research is to study the theoretical and methodological basis of the formation of the EU labor market and the impact of global digitalization processes on its transformation, the analysis of the use of innovative digitalization results at the level of sectoral components of the EULM, the implementation of an economic and mathematical assessment of their effectiveness, the determination of strategic prospects for the digitalization of the ULM in the direction of the growth of its international competitiveness. The object of the research is the transformative impact of global digitalization processes on the development of the EU labor market. The subject of the research is directions, mechanisms of implementation and priorities of the digital transformation of the EU labor market.
