Wei Y. Formation of future musical art teachers’ interpersonal interaction skills in the process of ensemble playing

The thesis has developed, theoretically substantiated, and experimentally tested a methodology for fostering interpersonal interaction skills of future teachers of musical art in the process of ensemble playing. Discrepancies were identified between the contemporary requirements for establishing new types and forms of interpersonal connections and relationships in the artistic-pedagogical environment and the unpreparedness of teachers and future teachers of musical art to implement them. There were also discrepancies between the objective demands of practice for optimizing the formation of interpersonal interaction skills of future teachers of musical art in ensemble playing and the insufficient development of methodological support for this process. The scientific novelty of the dissertation research lies in the following aspects:тthe development of a methodology for fostering interpersonal interaction skills among future teachers of music art in the process of ensemble playing; the identification of the essence and structural components of these interpersonal interaction skills among future teachers of music art during ensemble playing; the development and substantiation of pedagogical conditions for effectively cultivating these interpersonal interaction skills among future teachers of music art during ensemble playing; the creation of criteria, indicators, and the establishment of levels of proficiency in interpersonal interaction skills among future teachers of music art during ensemble playing, in accordance with the component structure of the researched phenomenon. Furthermore, the research clarified the essence of the concepts: «interaction», «interpersonal interaction», «skill» and «interpersonal interaction skills». The study has contributed to the advancement of theory and methodology related to the professional training of future teachers of music art within the context of performance preparation. The practical significance of this research lies in its potential application. The developed methodological materials for cultivating interpersonal interaction skills among future teachers of music art can be implemented in the educational processes of higher music and pedagogical institutions. Additionally, the findings and conclusions of this research can be utilized in the development of educational manuals, curricula, and methodological recommendations concerning the cultivation of interpersonal interaction skills among future teachers of music art in ensemble playing.
