Essay

The study presents the results of research of psychosocial factors of the formation of the professional image of practical psychologists in educational institutions. The relevance of the thesis resulted from significant changes in the professional role, increasing the level of requirements and responsibilities of a practical psychologist of an educational institution and at the same time low level of audience awareness of the specific features of the professional activities practical psychologist. In the conditions of armed Russian aggression, practical psychologists of educational institutions faced new, previously unsolvable issues. Today, the issue of their professional image is gaining particular importance, because the quality of psychological assistance for pedagogical workers, children, their parents, and other participants in the educational process is often of vital importance.
