Guo J. Preparation of future musical art teachers for the formation of schoolchildren’s cultural competence by means of innovative art technologies

The aim of the research is the theoretical justification, development and experimental verification of the methodology of preparing future musical art teachers for the formation of schoolchildren’s cultural competence by means of innovative art technologies. In accordance with the purpose of the study, a number of tasks were defined. On the basis of the conducted theoretical analysis, it was clarified that the process of communication of an individual with cultural information, in particular that transmitted through works of musical art, has a positive effect on his general cultural, personal and creative development, provided he has the ability to perceive, understand, differentiate and creatively interact with such information. In the course of solving the second task, it is substantiated that the process of forming the cultural competence of schoolchildren becomes most effective under the conditions of the application of innovative art technologies, which necessitates appropriate training in future musical art teachers. The essence of such preparedness is considered in the study as an integral professional-competence construct, based on the awareness of the value of the cultural heritage of mankind and the desire to successfully en culturate students of secondary schools to a modern multicultural environment through educational activity, which consists in familiarizing schoolchildren with the cultural picture of the world, reflected in artistic works. It was determined that the structure of such preparedness is formed by the interaction of three components, which in turn consist of certain elements, in particular: the educational-motivational component (acceptance as a value of the cultural and worldview diversity imprinted in artistic texts (musical, visual, literary, multimedia); the desire to acquaint schoolchildren with the cultural picture of the world through the disclosure of cultural codes of artistic texts by means of innovative art technologies); the sense-generating component (awareness of the cultural-symbolic functions of the elements of the musical language and ways of their significance in the artistic-interpretive process; knowledge of innovative art technologies, functional in the context of the representation of the cultural picture of the world in the musical-educational process); the creative-communication component (the ability to awaken the interest of schoolchildren in internalizing the sociocultural content of artistic texts by means of innovative art technologies; the ability to figuratively and expressively, with the use of innovative art technologies, represent the artistic picture of the world imprinted in artistic works).The result of solving the third task was determination of the methodological bases of research and preparing future musical art teachers for the formation of schoolchildren’s cultural competence by means of innovative art technologies, which was composed of a number of specific scientific approaches and related methodological principles. In particular, the expediency of applying the following approaches and principles was proved: competence-based (the principle of expediency in the selection of productive innovative art technologies in the process of music-pedagogical, music-performance and artistic-educational activities), multicultural (the principle of pluralism of the socio-culturally determined differences in the aesthetic features of artistic works of different ethnic groups), reflective (the principle of activation of the socio-cultural imagination in the process of artistic communication), rhetorical-hermeneutic (metaxological understanding of the socio-cultural context of artistic works through the actualization of the ethos categories), interdisciplinary (the principle of integrating the contents of the disciplines of art history and musicpedagogy), and constructivist (the principle of constructing cultural meanings through the integration of previous experience, sub-objective perception and new polyartistic knowledge). The result of solving the fourth task was the determination of the diagnostic apparatus of the study, the content of which consisted of criteria and indicators of the levels of future musical art teachers’preparedness for the formation of schoolchildren’s cultural competence by means of innovative art technologies, in particular. At the molding stage of the experiment, the pedagogical conditions were gradually created: stimulation to understanding the value of cultural diversity and its artistic reflection in art; encouragement to acquire knowledge about the semiotic functions of the elements of artistic languages and technologies (pedagogical and information-communication) of their implementation in the musical-educational process; intensification of the creative activity of future musical art teachers in artistic project work on the development and application of innovative art technologies for the formation of schoolchildren’s.
