Essay

The main aspects of training prospective veterinarians for professional communication are identified, which include: studying the Ukrainian language for professional purposes, studying one of the foreign languages, learning Latin. It is stated that the training of prospective veterinarians for professional communication is considered by foreign scientists to be almost at the same level of importance as professional courses. Particular attention is paid to effective interpersonal communication and conflict management. The following pedagogical conditions have been identified that will contribute to the formation of prospective veterinarians' readiness for professional communication in the process of studying humanities: ensuring positive motivation of prospective veterinarians for professional communication; multidimensional language training of prospective veterinarians in the educational process; use of a set of traditional and interactive technologies in the process of training prospective veterinarians for professional communication. A structural and functional model of the process of forming the readiness of prospective veterinarians for professional communication has been developed. The criteria, indicators and levels of formation of prospective veterinarians' readiness for professional communication are specified. The criteria for the formation of prospective veterinarians' readiness for professional communication include: motivational, cognitive, and operational. Based on the degree of manifestation of a number of indicators of the defined criteria, the levels of formation of the studied phenomenon are distinguished: high, medium and low. The possibility of using interactive learning technologies in the process of forming the readiness of prospective veterinarians for professional communication is considered. It is stated that interactive learning technologies are teaching students in such a way that they are actively involved in this process. Some of the possible types of classes based on the use of interactive technologies are presented. The experimental verification of the effectiveness of the identified and theoretically grounded pedagogical conditions for the formation of prospective veterinarians' readiness for professional communication in the educational process of agricultural higher education institutions confirmed their effectiveness. The results of the thesis research can be used to form the readiness of prospective veterinarians for professional communication in higher education institutions that train such specialists, as well as in the system of advanced training of teachers of these institutions.
