Skobelska O. Legal status of the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine

The dissertation research aims to disclose the principles of the legal status of temporarily occupied territories and develop promising directions for improving approaches and models of de-occupation of temporarily occupied territories and reintegration of de-occupied territories of Ukraine. The relevance of the chosen research problem is determined by the need to search for ways of scientific and theoretical understanding of the issue of the legal status of temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine in accordance with the norms of international and national law, as well as the search for a model of de-occupation and reintegration of such territories. The issue of the legal status of temporarily occupied territories is under-researched and has not found a comprehensive solution in legal science, therefore, it requires filling the gaps and providing proposals in this area. In the dissertation, theoretical foundations of the legal status of temporarily occupied territories (TOT) in Ukraine are comprehensively explored, considering new approaches in legal science.
