Zhdanovych R. Neuroprotection in newborns with intrauterine herpesvirus infection

The dissertation is devoted to the problem of central nervous system disorders in intrauterine herpesvirus infection. The medical and social significance of the problem is due to the widespread prevalence of herpes simplex viruses, the high frequency of nervous disorders caused by herpes viruses, psychomotor and cognitive developmental disorders, the leading place of CNS disorders in severe disability, which becomes a heavy burden for the family and society. The aim of the work is to improve methods of neuroprotection in newborns with intrauterine herpesvirus infection, taking into account clinical and etiological factors. Task: 1. To conduct a clinical and statistical analysis of the frequency and nature of CNS disorders, features of neonatal adaptation and catamnesis (first year of life) of children with intrauterine herpesvirus infection 2. To establish the mechanisms of disorders of the central nervous system of newborns during intrauterine infection with herpesvirus infection (placental disorders, changes in immunological status). 3. Identify risk factors for CNS disorders in newborns with intrauterine herpesvirus infection. 4. To develop and implement a complex of therapeutic and preventive measures, differentiated in relation to identified risk factors, aimed at reducing the frequency of CNS disorders in newborns with intrauterine herpesvirus infection.
