The first section of the dissertation focuses on the evolution of the concept of national security, which reflects the historical development and changes in the perception of this term. Initially limited to military aspects, this concept has transformed into a more comprehensive understanding, encompassing economic, environmental, social and cyber components. This expansion reflects the impact of global challenges, such as climate change, pandemics and economic crises, which emphasize the need for an integrated and global approach to national security. A comprehensive understanding of security reflects the interaction between various aspects of the life of the state and its citizens. The role of national security in ensuring and strengthening the sovereignty of the state is studied, with special emphasis on the importance of adapting to modern challenges. It is noted that effective management of national security requires not only protection from external threats, but also internal development in the areas of economic stability, political harmony and social well-being. This section lays the foundation for understanding the complexity of national security in the modern world, emphasizing its role as a key element in ensuring the stability and development of the state. The second section provides an in-depth analysis of the current challenges facing Ukraine and the strategies used to address them. The main attention is paid to the analysis of internal and external challenges affecting the national security of Ukraine. It is found that Ukraine has faced a number of serious internal challenges, such as political instability, economic difficulties, social tensions, cyber threats, as well as external threats, including geopolitical tensions, international conflicts, economic sanctions and international terrorism. To address these problems, comprehensive strategies are needed that encompass political stabilization, economic development, social support and cybersecurity, as well as active foreign policy activities and international integration. However, there is a need to further increase flexibility of strategies and their updating to respond to new challenges. A study of possible threats to national security has been conducted, including military conflicts, terrorist acts, cyberattacks, economic crises, and political instability. This analysis indicates the need for various response and adaptation strategies, as well as the importance of an integrated approach that combines national efforts with international cooperation for comprehensive protection against threats. The last part of the section is devoted to strategic planning of national security, which includes adaptation to rapidly changing international conditions and the integration of sectoral and regional approaches. The developed strategies cover strengthening defense capabilities, cybersecurity, economic stability, and political resilience, aimed at addressing modern geopolitical challenges. The third section focuses on the development and analysis of strategic directions that can contribute to increasing the country's national security in modern conditions. challenges. The importance of social development, including education, healthcare and culture, is emphasized to meet the basic needs of citizens. Information security is a key aspect in protecting privacy and data from cyber threats and disinformation. An important role is given to integrated strategies that take into account both of these areas to ensure the resilience of society. The impact of international cooperation and integration into international structures on the stability of countries is considered. The advantages of these processes include increasing international cooperation, promoting political consolidation, economic growth and social integration.
