A research Object - the pedagogical activity and scientific heritage of Grigory Vashchenko. The Aim of the research - the complex research of conceptual statements of Grigory Vashchenko's pedagogical and scientific heritage in the sphere of actual problems of the development of education and pedagogical science in Ukraine. The Methods of research and equipment. The principles: historical, comprehensive, interdependence and consistency of social- pedagogical phenomena and processes, scientific objectivity of khowledge; methods: historical- pedagogical, retrospective, classification, generalization, periodization, juxtaposition, comparison, conversations and inerviewing. Theoretical significance and the novelty. For the first time is conducted a complex research of Grigory Vashchenko's main pedagogical ideas about the searching and practical transformation in the educational- upbringing system of Ukraine. Practical outcomes and novelty. Materials of a thesis can be used for preparation of scientific w ork and educational appliences on a history pedagogical science of Ukraine. A subject and degree of introduction. Main problems of upbringing of children and youth are defined and observed through Grigory Vashch-enko's scientific-pedagogical activity.
