Essay

The object of research: automobile, exhausts gases toxicity diagnostic methods. The purpose of research: theoretical and experimental development of roller stand diagnostic methods under operating condition with outcomes result in specific mass units. Methods of research: methods of mechanics and engine theory. Equipment: analyzers of exhausts gases, floumeters. Theoretical and practical results: the automobile toxicity monitoring methods on chassis dynamometer with obtaining results in specific mass unit are developed; the load and speed conditions are developed; the methods of bringing the norms for transitional cycles to norms for stationary conditions are offered; the numerical values of norms are defined; metrological performances of a method and measuring system are defined; the form and magnitude of toxicity load is offered for using in diagnostics of catalytic neutralizing. New offered results: diagnostic methods, test conditions, values of norms. Level of application: results are used in testi ng laboratory of KhSAHTU, certificated by State standard organization. Field of applications: motor transport.
