Ukrainskyi Y. Improving the fuel efficiency of vehicles of category N3

The dissertation is devoted to increase the fuel economy of vehicles of category N3 by using operative control of the fuel consumption, means of intelligent transport systems and of its realization. To solve this problem, it was investigated and formed the method of ensuring the fuel efficiency of freight vehicle in variable operating conditions by means of operational control of the fuel consumption and intelligent transport systems. The practical significance of the obtained results is to develop recommendations for the application of the method of the fuel economy for vehicles of category N3, which in variable operating conditions allows to take into account the information of operational control on the basis of intelligent transport systems. The results of monitoring the parameters of fuel consumption and technical condition of cargo vehicles of category N3 and other parameters of the experimental system in operation allows to evaluate the value of average fuel consumption and increase the fuel efficiency of freight vehicles by individual criteria and by using the developed onboard information complex.
