Object - the process of national self-consciousness formation of pupils. Purpose : to motivate theoretically and to check experimentally the influence of the tourist-ethnographical work on national self - consciousness formation on pupils of 5-9 forms. Methods: talk, questionnairing, interviewing, test, experiment. Results of investigation can be used in elaborating school-programs, manuals, in out-of-class and out-of-school activities, in making subject programs, specialized courses in teacher training institutions and establishments of raising the level of teacher's skill.
