Essay

The thesis is devoted to the problem of formation in pupils of secondary level of education the readiness to ecological activity in non-formal education of Sweden. The theoretical foundations of the problem of forming the readiness of pupils of secondary level of education for environmental activities in non-formal education in Sweden are described, by analyzing scientific sources. The essence of the concepts «environmental activity» is specified; «readiness of pupils of secondary level of education to ecological activity». The structural components of the readiness of pupils of secondary level of education to ecological activity (cognitive, emotional-value, activity) are characterized. The peculiarities of the process of non-formal education in Sweden and other EU countries in relation to the formation of readiness of pupils of secondary level of education to ecological activity are clarified. Based on a comparative analysis of the problem of forming the readiness of pupils of secondary level of education (teenagers) to ecological activity in non-formal (out-of-school) education in Sweden and Ukraine, recommendations are developed on the possibilities of implementing constructive ideas of Swedish experience at the state, institutional and individual levels.
