KYYaNOVS'KYJ A. Humanistic Means of Elementary School Pupils' Personality Formation.

Thesis for Scientific Degree of Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences Appeal on Speciality 13.00.07. - Theory and Methods of Personality Formation. Kherson State Pedagogical University, Kherson, 2000. In this thesis the problem of humanistic means' usage in the process of elementary pupils' up-bringing has been researched, taking into account the historical and periodical levels. Then also has been made an analysis of the prominent philosophers and representatives of pedagogic science of different historical and cultural epochs' contribution into the development of the problem under consideration. Forms and methods of the humanistic - based personality's development by means of the educational and personality formation of school education's potential have been theoretically evaluated and practically based. The main directions and the stages of this process' realization in the secondary educational establishments of a new type have been determined. It has been proved that the effectiveness of the experiment al methodology of the humanistically - directed personality of the elementary pupils in the school founded by Kiyanovsky is provided by the priorities of the paradigms of humanic values in the realization of the educational upbringing process. Stimulation of the artistic-aesthetic interest skills and habit of the elementary school, pupils' harmonic assimilation of the intellective development of pupils with their physical health strengthening is the basis for their adaptation on the new social- cultural environment
