Russian terms system for maritime navigation. The complex linguistic analysis of russianTSMN. The methods of linguistic analysis. While analyzing paradigmatic relations (hyponimy, synonymy, polysemy, antonymy, thematic and functional - semantic organization) and syntagmatic relations (lexical and syntactic combination of terms), ways of organizing TSMN are established. Principal semasiological characteristics of a term are monosemia, absence of synonymia and omonymia, expressive and stylistic neutrality are leading tendences in TSMN as regularities only in the sphere of fixation, and they break in the sphere of functions. Causes of asymetria are extralingual (historical, geographical, social, psychological) and inlingual (use of different word-forming and syntaxical models). Productive and non-productive ways of forming and models of terms for MN are established. Sphere of use are training course and practice of translation.
