In this thesis the historical, social and pedagogical preconditions having caused the formation of the scien-tific communities of Slobozhanshchyna of the second half of the 19 th century are analysed; the organization of formation of scientific communities are discovered; the dynamics of the development was also established; the contents of the pedagogical activity of their are de-fined in the work; the ways of realization of the pedagogical ideas, methodical recommendations touching upon the didactics of teaching of basic subjects at the school are defined in the investigation; the ways of creative usage of the pedagogical experience of the scientific communities of Slobozhanshchyna in modern conditions are exposed.
