The theme of Thesis is peculiarities of art processes in Halychyna's art life at the last decade of XIX century - the beginning of XX century (up till 1918). Being based on the context of historical development of region. The fundamental studies of activity of art associations, groups and unions gave the opportunity to find out the transition stages of the development of Ukrainian art. The Thesis has revealed the creative work of personality in solving of professional art problems.
