The thesis deals with the problem of the learning process self-correction by students of secondary comprehensive school. It is clarified the pedagogic- al conditions for involving means of self-correction into the learning process. The essence, structures and functions of the learning process means are elicited. The technology of the learning process self- correction is grounded. The student monitoring concept as means of formation of self-correction skill is worked out.
