There has been made a research of cultural and logical background of development of system of education, pedagogical ideas elucidative scientific-and- pedagogical activity in Donetsk region. It is specified methodological foundations of cultural reflection of Donetsk region on educational processes. It is opened specificity of ethnocultural situation and prognostic tendency regional development. The idea of polycultural education with consideration of regional ethnocultural peculiar properties is proved. Education is disclosed as cultural and logical personal directed phenomenon. Complete cultural and logical and historical and pedagogical analysis of development of different type of schools, educational institutions is realized. It is opened the main tendencies of evolutional processes in education of given period. The results of research work are an important contribution to the development of problems of history of public education in regional cultural and educational field on cultural and logical b ases.
