The dissertation deals with the investigation and the analysis of the kinesic lexical units of the literary text as the integral part of the lexical system of the French language, the specific structure of the literary speech, which is one of the important mean of creating the character and realizing the author's task in the literary text. The complex analysis of the kinesic lexis and its forms is made directly in the literary text, the major characteristics of the literary kinesic system are established and the peculiarities of its functioning in the French novel of the XXth century are defined.
