Zelena Y. Attributive constructions in the context of secondary prediction in the French language.

In present thesis, semantic and functional features of attributive constructions are analyzed, systematized and generalized, in the plane of study of their communicative and pragmatic nature, taking into account their productive potential. The pragmatic-functional aspect of attributive structures was investigated in a multidimensional manner and their predicative performance was established; the paradigm of attributive verbs in the structure of the attributive structure is developed and the dichotomy – basic / optional attributive verb is analyzed; the semantism of attributive verbs is described and the connection between their semantic filling and the influence on the process of formation of connections in the context of secondary predication is established; the essence of the process of "copularization" of verbs and its role as a basis for constant updating of the list of attribute complexes are revealed.
