Kinzers'ka T. Zarnyts'ka in the Ukrainian theatrical art of the end of the XIX - the first third of the XX century

The processes taken place in the Ukrainian stage art of the end of XIX - the first third of the XX centuries are investigated in the thesis. Through a consideration of the coryphaei theatre as an epoch, a trend, the national culture phenomenon the peculiarities of Ukrainian theatrical school of that time are shown through the creative work of outstanding Ukrainian actress E. Zarnyts'ka. The biography of E. Zarnyts'ka is depicted for the first time, methods and means of her work at the part are investigated, different roles of the actress in drama and musical performances are analyzed; her main parts in drama plays and music-drama theatre are collected and made into systems. Routes of performances of Ukrainian theatre groups where E. Zarnyts'ka played are depicted. The unique of the theatre school of the coryphaei caused by its music-dramatic direction and a significance of Zarnyts'ka's stage work for the development of the national theatre are shown through the creative biography of the outstanding actress. Putting into scientific use a large amount of the facts about Zarnyts'ka's life is favourable to writing the objective history of the national theatrical art. Researches and conclusions made in the thesis can be used during the lectures for the students of theatre training schools, actors, producers, historians, culture scientists and can be a part of the scientific research "Ukrainian actors school: History and contemporaneity".
