Object of study: practice of upbringing of positive attitude towards physical education classes among 5-7 formers. Subject of study: content, forms and methods of upbringing of positive attitude towards physical education classes among 5-7 formers. Purpose of study: theoretical substantiation and experimental testing of efficiency of content, forms and methods of upbringing of positive attitude towards physical education classes among 5-7 formers. Methods: theoretical, empirical, statistical. Scientific novelty lies in determination of structural components of positive attitude of junior teenagers towards physical education classes; development of estimation criteria and indices of its formation; revealing levels of development of attitude towards physical education classes; developing technology of upbringing of positive attitude towards physical education classes among 5-7 formers. Sphere of application: in educational process of general educational establishments, childrens' and youth sports schools, higher educational establishments and postgraduate teachers' educational institutions.
