Lednyak J. Pedagogical potential of the folklore of the Eastern region of Ukraine.

The object of investigation is the process of traditional folk education in the Eastern region of Ukraine; the aim is the revelation and theoretical grounds of the pedagogical potential of Ukrainian and Russian folklore of the region, and oletermination of the wais for using it in the teaching-educational process; the methods are the following: analysis of literature, structural-functional analysis of folklore materials and summarizing the progress of the pedagogical folklore experience, questionnaire, field collecting the folklore materials; the novelty lies in the status of the folklore as the means of education got further development; for the first time the pedagogical content and educational possibilities of Ukrainian and Russian folklore of the region in connection with the specific character of the given socium mentality were analysed; unknown folklore texts of pedagogical content were introduced into scientific life; the results - a lot of regional folklore works were analysed and systematized, recommendations as to their use were worked out as well as the programme of special course and the system of exercises and practical tasks, which can be used in the process of studying Russian at the Institute; the branch is the general pedagogics.
