Object of the research-professional training and activities of young border guard officers. Aim of research - to ground theoretically and to check experimentally the ways and pedagogical conditions of streamlining the development of young border guard officers' readiness for independent execution of service tasks. Methods of research and apparatus-theoretical and empirical methods, forming pedagogical experiment, mathematical statistics methods. Novelty of the newly implemented: a complex program of pedagogical influence on the development of young border guard officers' independence while executing service tasks has been elaborated. Structure and essence of border guard officers' readiness for independent solving of pedagogical problems have been clarified. New ways of development of young border guard officers' readiness for independent execution of service tasks have been determined. Degree of implementation: principal results of the research have been implemented in the training process of Chernivtsi and Kotovsk border guard units, are used at Bohdan Khmelnytskyi National Academy of Border Guard Troops of Ukraine during the lessons on military psychol-ogy, pedagogy, and methodics of morale work. Sphere (field) of usage: at the training process of higher military educational institutions, in practical activities aimed at development of border guard officers readiness for independent execution of service tasks at the units of Border Guard Troops of Ukraine.y educational establishments.
