Object - the process of secondary school pupils' ecological education. Research aim - to ground and experimentally validate the contents, forms and means of ecological education based on "deep ecology", to define pedagogical conditions facilitating their effectiveness. Methods: theoretical , empyrical, statistical. Results: contents of ecological education on the basis of "deep ecology" is worked out; pedagogical conditions of its implementation in the lesson-system are defined; "deep ecology" forms and means of ecological education are proved to form the pupils' attitude towards nature; optional course "Neoecology" is designed and implemented.
