Essay

The object: is the history of developing the European schooling in the 19th century. The aim is to compare the educational systems of the European countries, to determine the specific features of their forming and functioning, to show their mutual influence and enrichment in the evolution process. Methods: historical and chronological, statistical, systematic. Results: there was performed the comparative analysis of the content, forms and methods of instruction in the Ukrainian and foreign schooling, determined the main tendencies of developing and functioning the teachers' training systems in the 19th century, studied the peculiarities of working out the theoretical concept of education process organization in the European schools.
