Essay

The dissertation is dedicated to study of therapeutic efficacy of amizon in the patients with osteoarthritis (OA) and rheumatoid arthritis (RA). Is proved, that amizon reduces progression of OA in rats, decreases destruction of articular cartilage, stimulates reparation mainly of subchondral bone and has chondroprotectial effect. Postulated, that amizon is an effective agent of treatment of the patients with OA of І - ІІ stages and of the patients with RA with minimal activity of inflammatory process. The results of these studies showed that efficacy of amizon is similar to nimesulide. Pharmacotherapy of joints diseases with amizon is more safe, than such as NSAIDs, and is not accompanied by development of serious side effects.
