Essay

Object of the study - process of the training of specialists in the humanities at high schools. Purpose: to substantiate theoretically the scope of the humanitarian disciplines in building up rhetoric culture in the student of the humanities; to reveal conditions necessary to realize the developing component of the instruction; to develop a system of creative exercises in the forming of the rhetoric culture. Methods: system and structural analysis of scientific literature; classification, systematization and generalization of the facts collected; modeling of the training situations; study of contemporary pedagogical experience, statistical and mathematical method. Theoretical value of the study consists in substantiation of the theoretical clauses and conclusions concerning the molding of rhetoric culture in students of the humanities in the course of the teaching and the upbringing. Practical value of the results obtained is realized in conclusions, recommendations and a scientifically substantiated method which enriches the pedagogical practice of building up the students' culture, both general and rhetoric ones. Scientific novelty of the results obtained in the course of the study consists in having made the first ever attempt in the Ukrainian pedagogic to concretely define the content of the scientific concept "rhetoric culture", in theoretical substantiation of categorical concepts "rhetoric activity", "personality's rhetoric characteristics", "structure of the rhetoric culture", in practical application of the author's method in the sphere of the principal theoretical and practical issues of pedagogical rhetoric, in exposure of criteria and levels of rhetoric culture maturity in students of the humanities, in an organizational and methodical system proposed to promote forming this culture.
