Essay

Object is a history of schoolish in Halychyna. The aim is to analyse the system of schoolish in Halychyna in the end of the 19th and the beginning of the 20th centuries for considerating the experience of past in up-to-date conditions. Methods are particular seached (theoretical analysis, synthesis, systematisation and classification of materials and papers); historic-geographical (studying the character of the regional schoolish system developing); chronological (studying the dynamic of changes in schoolish system based on time succession); extrapolative (summing up, drawing a general conclusions after analysing the source ground). A scientific novelty lies in the fact that it has been analysed in complex the schoolish system in Halychyna in the end of the 19th and the beginning of the 20th centuries. it was made in a context of polycultural educational space for the first time. It has also been increased the information about the structure and functioning of educational system in the region. It has been discovered the main tendencies of schoolish development in the given period (initial dynamics of educational-training institutions, asserting all ethnic groups' rights concerning a many-language education, its structural harmonisation and improving degree); new historical facts and little known archives' documents are taken to the scientific circle.
