The object of investigation: The metabolism and antioxidant condition in clinically healthy horses and those with experimental aseptic arthritis. The purpose: to study the indexes of macro-, microelements and - antioxidant exchange in blood serum and sinovial fluid in the course of asepticall arthritis in horses and while using pathogeneticalli substantiated methods of their treatment. The method of investigation: clinical, morphological (determination of the quantity of erhitrocytes and leucocytes, leucogramma), biochemical (hemoglobin, general proteins, general calcium, nonorganic phosphorus, magnium, ceruloplasmin, index AOA, MDA), atom-absorption (Cu, Zn, Fe, Co, Mn). Scientific novelty: consist of theoretical and experimental substantiations of some mechanismes of the development of joint inflammation in horses and effective methods of their treatment. There was obtained new data as to age dynamic of the content of macro- (Ca, P, Mg), microelements (Cu, Zn, Fe, Co, Mn), ceruloplasmine, malonove dialdegide and index of antioxidant activity of sinovial fluid and blood serum in clinically healthy horses and their change at the course of experimental aseptic arthritis. On the basis of the obtained results there was conducted comparative effectivity scientifically substantiated pathogeneticul treatment methods of experimental arthritis in horses. It was proposed: two chemes of the treatment of horses with aseptically arthritis. The method of determination of the condition of antioxidant system for improving prognosis and treatment effectivity.
