The object of study - horses with uveitis. The purpose of the study is to improve the diagnostic complex and treatment of uveitis in horses on the basis of clinical and experimental substantiation of their etiological structure, clinical and ophthalmological criteria and diagnostic algorithms and pathogenetic mechanisms. Research methods - clinical, instrumental ophthalmological, epizootological, hematological, physical, biochemical, immunological, serological, morphological, statistical. Scientific novelty. The importance of serological groups of L. interrogans and immunological reaction of type III hypersensitivity in the development of uveitis, their clinical and ophthalmological criteria and diagnostic algorithms, complex pharmacotherapy depending on the clinical form of ophthalmopathy are substantiated. Eye and uveitis diseases in horses from different regions of Ukraine, risk factors and the structure of their etiological factors were monitored. The criteria of acute, subacute and chronic uveitis and the staged course of the recurrent form of the disease are substantiated. The developed hemogram on 27 indicators and a condition of immunobiological reactivity of an organism of horses according to clinical forms and stages of a current of uveitis are studied. Protocols for the treatment of horses with uveitis based on leptospirosis factor and clinical form are substantiated. Implemented: 3 patents of Ukraine for a utility model were obtained, the dissertation materials were included in the methodical recommendations, they are used in research and educational work at the faculties of higher educational institutions.
