The influence of different doses of amber acid on the clinically healthy dogs bodyhas been proved and the optimum dose for treatment the animals with purulent wounds is determined. It is proved that intravenous use of 1,5% solution of reamerin made on the basis of amber acid causes detoxification, antihypoxic and antioxidanteffect, optimizes the reparative processes in animals with purulent wounds and reduces the time of infected wounds healing. The effectiveness of the pathogenetic method of treatment purulent wounds in dogs with the use of amber acid and the preparation made on its basis - 1.5% solution of reamberine was clinically, theoretically and experimentally substantiated. It is proved that the amber therapy increases the antioxidant defense of the organism, reduces lipid peroxidation intensity and the level of endogenous intoxication of the body. Adoption: 2 patents of Ukraine were obtained for the utility model, the materials of the dissertation are included in methodological recommendations, they are used in research and teaching work at the faculties of higher education institutions.
