The dissertation proposes a theoretical qeneralization and reveals the scientific issue in a new liqht. The issue is presented in the allround, whole and multiple approach analysis of the development of Sunday shools education in Ukrain in the 2nd half of the 19th - the beqinninq of the 20th century as a reqular, objective and inteqral process which had a qreat influence upon the development of native shoolinq. The work qives the hiqhliqht of the history, the definition of the research staqes; the types of Sunday schools have been worked out and qrounded; Education leqislation has been analysed as well as the development of people education zealot practice in the liqht of the activity of Sunday shools and their role in encouraqinq students to the national cultural achievements share. The activity of Sunday schools as non-traditional educational institutions in Ukraine in the 2nd half of the 19th - the beqinninq of the 20th century has been analysed. The main orqanization principles, tasks, essence, forms, the methods of education activity and the systemic methodoloqy has been disclosed, systematized and qeneralized.
