Essay

The object - experimentally reproduced and spontaneous endometritis an pyometra in bitches. The aim - to base clinically, morphologically, microbiologically, experimentally and theoretically some questions of the pyometra's etiology, pathogenesis, diagnostic and curing. Methods - clinical, physico-chemical, biochemical, cytological, bacteriological, histological, histochemical, pathoanatomical, statistical. Novelty - The complex study of spontaneous chronicle endometritis and pyometra and endometritis in bitches, reproduced by injection of mixed cultures of purulent bacteria into the uterus cavity has been conducted in Ukraine for the first time. It has been clarified the morphological features of uterus in matured bitches and established their differences in different kinds. It has been described the morphological peculiarity of uterus neck in bitches that lies in the producing of mucopolysaсcharide layer, covering he mucosa membrane and providing the barrier function. The accumulation of common and neutral lipids as a barrier on the way soaking of destructive products of uterus contents into blood and lymph is considered to play a role in the pathogenesis of latent chronicle endometritis and pyometra and in the expression of clinical symptoms. It has been proved that the injection of the mixed cultures of non-specific purulent agents leads to the pathomorfological changes, characterized by hypersecretion of endometrium glands with the following epithelium destruction and cysts formation. The pregnancy with the following embryo death, caused by latent chronical endometritis was speculated to be in the pyometra's pathogenesis, when the uterus had an ampulla-liked dilatation.
