Essay

The object of the research is the processes of reproduction of labour potential of industrial enterprises in transitional economy of Ukraine. The purpose of the research is the theoretical justification and the working out of the methodical approaches and practical recommendations aimed at improving the estimation of labour potential, the processes of its formation and usage under the modern conditions of transitional economy. The methods of the research. The theoretical and methodological basis of the performed studies is the scientific tenets of the theory of economics, the works of the scientists – economists, sociologists, demographers, philosophical principles of cognition, materialist interpretation of the processes and phenomena in economy, dialectical, logical and systemic approaches to their consideration. The theoretical and practical results: theoretical tenets concerning the definition of labour potential and its connection with labour potential of a personality and society have been developed; the factors influencing the process of using the enterprise labour potential have been determined; the methods of assessing the quality of enterprise labour potential have been worked out; the formation of process commands by means of reengineering approach has been offered. Scientific novelty. For the first time: the usage of reengineering approach allowing to optimize the organization of labour, which results in enhancement of efficiency of using enterprise labour potential, is grounded; the following aspects have got further development: the theoretical motivation of the notion of labour potential as a complex of work opportunities formed under the certain industrial relations and reproduction conditions, which in case of conformance to modern technologies can be effectively used in production activity; the methodical approach according to which the labour potential at the stage of formation is considered as an own resource, and at the stage of distribution and usage – as a potential and real manpower; the methodical approach which basing on the complex of methods of multimeasured factor analysis, the main components method particularly, gives an opportunity of dividing the enterprise workers according to the level of their labour potential; the classification of factors of enterprise labour potential usage, which are divided depending on the significance by ranks that allows to determine the main lines of this process improvement; the system of main parameters of labour potential have been improved. Among these parameters the auhtor has named the ones which determine this potential not only in terms of direct content in aspects of demographic, sociocultural and professional-and-educational characteristics, but from the point of view of labour activity of enterprise workers characteristics. Practical value of the received results lies in that the introduction of the results of the work will make for increase in efficiency of formation and usage of industrial enterprises labour potential.
