The first attempt has been made in the paper as to the complex investigation of the pedagogy of "new upbringing" development; social economic and pedagogical preconditions of appearing of this educational trend have been revealed; the theory and practice of the "new upbringing" development stages have been defined; the tendencies in the organization of the educational process by "new schools" in European countries have been pointed out; the influence of the "new upbringing" ideas on the development of the national pedagogy in the given period has been analysed; the ways of using the experience of the organization of the educational process in "new schools" under the reforming conditions of a contemporary school have been shown.
