Essay

Object - the development of national education in Galicia at the end of XIX-th century - and the beginning of XX-th century. The aim of the research - giving analysis of A.Krushelnytskyi creating heritage for elucidating it importance for development of modern education in Ukraine. During this work such methods were used: historical-retrospective, personalistical-biographical, methods of comparing and theoretical generalization. The scientifical novelty of the research: the fundamental facts of A.Krushelnytskyi pedagogical views forming were found and characterized in the context of the main ideas of the foreign pedagogics of the end of XIX-th century and the beginning of the XX-th century; the A.Krushelnytskyi ideas to the Ukrainian national school development were first analysed, the correlation between his main concepts and the process of educational reforming in that period was retraced; the comparing analysis of A.Krushelnytskyi text-books, the text-books of other authors of that period and moderntext-books was also given in the research; the pedagogue's role in Ukrainian educational activity was defined more exact; the importance of A.Krushelnytskyi pedagogical vieus for the reforming of modern education and upbringing in Ukraine was also considered. The possible ways of the creative using of A.Krushelnytskyi pedagogical haritage in modern theory and practice of aducation and upbringing pupils was substantiated in the research.The lectures and seminars for the courses "History of Pedagogics" and "The Ucrainian Pedagogics in Names" for the students of high schools were worked out and delivered by the results of the research. The main results, conceptions of the research can be used in teaching pedagogics and History of Pedagogics of Ukraine, also in outworking of educational curricula, special courses and seminars, in creating text-books.
