Essay

The object of study - the system of ecclesiastical education, which has developed in Ukraine In Ukraine in borders of the Russian empire. The purpose of study is the Illumination of a history and features of functioning of ecclesiastical-educational institution of Tavrida Eparchy, which, was an ordinary territorial-administrative unit of Russian Orthodox Church on the one hand, and which had a number of important features on the other hand, has been carried out. The methods used in the research are: historical-genetic, historical-comparative, historical-typological, historical-system. The practical value of results of the dissertation consists in the help modern Eparchy management in a choice of ways of the contents of own educational institutions, in correct production of administrative-economic and educational-tutor parts, and in such region, as Crimea, - also in correct construction of interconfessional relations. Besides the separate materials, ideas and conclusions of work can be used for the further study of a history of ecclesiastical education, during development special courses on a history of Orthodox Church, during creation of scientific or popular-scientific works on a history of Tavrida Eparchy. The research of the system of ecclesiastical-educational institutions of Tavrida Eparchy, which was an ordinary territorial-administrative unit of Russian Orthodox Church on the one hand, and which had a number of important features on the other hand, has been carried out. On the basis of numerous original sources, a lot of which are brought into scientific use for the first time, the conditions of appearing and the main development stages of Tavrida ecclesiastical-educational institutions have been characterized. The basic eparchy bodies involved in their management as well as financing system have been elicited. Besides, the analysis of the administrative structure, teaching staff, teaching and educational process and the social structure of pupils of all four ecclesiastical-educational institutions is made - Simferepol ecclesiastical school, Tavrida Eparchy girls' school, Tavrida ecclesiastical seminary and Tavrida Eparchy psalm school.
