Essay

Specific features of the essence and methods of teaching History at schools in Jordan are described. The structure of school education, peculiarities in training of teachers of History are characterized in the research work. The essence of historical school education is analyzed in detail. Methods of teaching, main approaches to classification thereof are considered. Specific features in the application of teaching methods at lessons in History are illustrated. A system of control and estimation of pupils’ progress is described. Didactic conditions for improvement of the organization of teaching process are substantiated.
